Pajama Party

Since 1988, Treehouse has filled the gaps for kids in foster care, providing services that no other agency addresses: money for extra-curricular activities and summer camp, professional educational support services, resources to fully participate in the everyday activities of growing up, clothing and supplies to help them fit in at school. Most importantly, Treehouse programs offer kids in foster care what all children so desparately need: a safe place to dream.

Since Leisure Care’s beginning, philanthropy has been at the core of the company’s value system. Employees are encouraged to find their passion and give back to their local communities. For many Leisure Care employees, that passion is Treehouse, a Seattle-based non-profit organization that fills the gaps for children in foster care by providing services that no other agency addresses. For the past six years, Tana Gall and Judy Marczewski, members of Leisure Care’s executive team, have focused their passion for this organization on a specific goal – to host an annual Pajama Party and collect donations of pajamas for the Treehouse Warehouse during the winter season.

The 2009 Pajama Party took place on November 18th and more than 1,000 pairs of pajamas were collected. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this year’s party such a success! Because of you, King County foster children will be cozy and warm this winter.
