“Putt for Parkinson’s” at The Landing of Collegeville
At The Landing of Collegeville assisted living and memory care, we provide life-enhancing senior care services that empower our residents to live the life they want. We believe that prioritizing family, the local community, and the workplace (in that order) has a positive and lasting impact, making the lives of our residents and our employees better. Our “Do Good, Have Fun Committee” combines our life-enhancing services and our dedication to serving others. Over the past year, we have raised over $8,000 to support local charities.
“It makes us feel good to do something for someone else who may need help. We get help here, so we would like to pass it forward.” – Norma C. And Theresa M., Co-Chairs of the Do Good, Have Fun Committee
Continuing our efforts to impact others positively, we will design and build a 9-hole miniature golf course around the community. The First Annual Putt for Parkinson’s event will occur on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. To register for this fun event or be one of our sponsors, contact Carin at (484)-854-1600.
Committing to the Three-Thirds Lifestyle
The Landing of Collegeville provides assisted living and memory care services in Collegeville, PA. Dedicated to the health and wellness of our residents, we are always seeking new and creative ways to engage residents and the local community. On the third Tuesday of every month, we host an open forum discussion relating to a Ted Talk topic. Inspired by Kid President’s “Pep Talk,” our residents were inspired to “create something that will make the world awesome.” This led to the creation of our “Do Good, Have Fun Committee.”
As a Leisure Care community, The Landing of Collegeville encourages a Three-Thirds Lifestyle, where residents and staff serve in the areas where we live, work, and play. We believe living a balanced life benefit not only the individual person but the entire community.
Join us for a fun (and impactful!) game of putt-putt on August 14, or contact us today to schedule your tour and join The Landing of Collegeville family! We can’t wait to welcome you home!
