Providing Support for People with Dementia and their Caregivers
The Linden at Murrieta is proud to host a regular social gathering for dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory care community in Murrieta and surrounding areas. Caregivers and people living with the disease are invited to join us to socialize, explore caregiving options, eat treats, and enjoy community with other caregivers. We know that living with dementia can be challenging, and caregivers may feel alone in their journey. However, our senior living community provides a family-like environment where residents and their caregivers find comfort and camaraderie, learning from the experiences of others.
The gathering will be held on the first Wednesday of the month at 3:30 pm. Each month will have a theme, a guest speaker, a dementia-friendly interactive activity, take-home tips, and invaluable resources for caregivers. Our first event was on October 6 and featured Dr. Palencia, a guest speaker from Geiss Medical. Guests left with a caregiver tip sheet, group support, a new community of support, and so much more!
More than a memory care community, The Linden at Murrieta provides a strong community for residents and family members, engaging people with dementia in innovative and creative ways. We strive to connect with the larger Murrieta area in a way that is generous, helpful, and transparent while fostering an employee-focused culture where fun and enthusiasm occur naturally!
We would love for you to join us at our next event! Snacks and beverages will be provided. Proof of COVID vaccination required or negative COVID test with 72 hours for entry. Contact us to learn more!
