Welcome to Leisure Care! It’s So Good to Have You Here!
This isn’t just a new logo on your name tag. It’s the start of something meaningful—for you, for our residents, and for the culture we’re building together.
Leisure Care is a people-first company. We show up for one another, for our residents, and their families. We lead with kindness and energy. We work hard, play hard, and always make room for joy. Whether you’re serving a meal, leading an event, helping a family, or simply making someone’s day a little brighter—you matter here.
We understand that change may bring up questions or feelings of uncertainty. We want to assure you that all three organizations — Inspired Healthcare Capital (IHC), Volante, and Leisure Care — are working in close alignment to make this process as smooth and transparent as possible. Some FAQs are below, but as updates evolve and questions are addressed, additional details will be shared in the coming weeks. Check back for the most up to date information!
Frequently Asked Questions
No, it’s not necessary to come in outside of normal hours to join this week’s meeting. There will be multiple meeting times the week of June 9th, and we ask that you do plan to attend one meeting that week. We will provide those dates and times in advance so that you can plan.
As of June 1st, Leisure Care will become your primary point of contact for all operational and personnel decisions. On July 1st, the community will transition to Leisure Care’s systems, which will include a new time clock, new software, and new benefits program. These programs will be introduced in the month of June, and training and support will be provided to help you get up to speed on all new processes.
Leisure Care intends to retain all current employees in their current roles at their current rates of pay, subject to Leisure Care’s pre-hire onboarding policies. Occasionally, job titles do change, but your daily job duties will remain the same.
A small team from IHC and Leisure Care will be in your community on the week of May 19. You’ll be invited to any meetings to complete the hiring process and discuss benefits, which will take place the week of June 9th. At that June meeting, you will need to bring the following items:
– Approved I-9 Documentation
– Social Security Card
– New Hire Paperwork Packet (to be distributed by your Office Manager in late May)
No, IHC remains the owner of this community. Only management is changing.
It’s Leisure Care’s goal to keep all employees whole in this transition, and with that, your current PTO balances will be transferred from Volante to Leisure Care. Please plan to attend the employee meetings at your community the week of June 9th to learn more about Leisure Care’s benefits and PTO program.
All employees who are eligible for healthcare benefits with Volante will also be eligible for benefits with Leisure Care. The Leisure Care plans are different from Volante, so if you are benefits eligible, even if you do not opt into benefits now, please plan to stay for the benefits review portion of the employee meeting. If you decide not to opt into Leisure Care’s benefits but have benefits with Volante, you will be given the option for COBRA.
