A Fresh Look for Fairwinds – Sand Creek

At Fairwinds – Sand Creek, we’re all about getting better with age. Our residents show us what that looks like every day – and now it’s our turn! We’re excited to share that renovations at Fairwinds – Sand Creek will begin on September 14.

This is a place where friendships grow over morning coffee, families gather around the table, and neighbors become part of one another’s daily lives. The upcoming work will refresh the background for those special moments and help us continue serving residents well for years to come.

There’s no question that shared spaces play an important role in community life. Our renovations will focus on those settings, including updates to our lobby, bistro, dining area, patio, and hallways. 

As we planned these updates, we considered how each space could work better for the people who use it every day. Our goal is to create comfortable, functional areas that support connection without limiting individual choice. The renovation also allows Fairwinds – Sand Creek to continue growing alongside the people we serve.

Today’s older adults aren’t wrapping up their life’s journey; they’re seeking a new one, reimagining and reinventing retirement to pursue the most fulfilling, rewarding, and productive opportunities possible. Our renovations will simply make sure we’re keeping up! 

Caring for a Place People Call Home.

Renovating an active independent living and assisted living community requires care and time. Residents may notice temporary changes to familiar areas as the work progresses. We will keep residents and families informed about what to expect at each stage of the project.

Through it all, daily life at Fairwinds – Sand Creek will continue to center on the people who live here. Familiar team members, favorite programs, shared meals, and long-standing friendships will remain part of each day.

We look forward to sharing the progress and, eventually, welcoming residents, families, and neighbors into the finished spaces. There is a lot to look forward to, and we hope you’ll be part of what comes next.
