“We moved my 92-year-old mom from NJ to WA in 2016, so that she could live near her retired daughter, son-in-law, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. After much research, we found Fairwinds Brighton Court, a clean, bright, and lively residence that was only four miles from our home in Edmonds. Mom was self-sufficient and mobile (in spite of her advanced years), and she happily moved into her beautiful, spacious one-bedroom apartment. She was thrilled to join her friends at dinner every evening in the lovely Fairwinds dining room. Mom often said that she felt like she was living in a fancy hotel, complete with a hair salon and a visiting podiatrist. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the Fairwinds staff immediately implemented precautions, quarantines, and testing to keep the residents and staff safe and healthy. The level of attention, care, and cleaning were exemplary! Deepest appreciation to all the Fairwinds staff for treating all the residents as if they were family.” – Karen W., a family member of a resident

“It’s been six months since I came to Fairwinds. I wish I could fully express how grateful I am for the wonderful care that you and your staff provide every day for all of us! Yesterday, for the first time, I put in a request for groceries and they were delivered to my room today. And then they even took care of a special request to have a picture, which one of your people had taken last week, to be sent by email to my church where new members are to be taken in. The patience and kindness that we receive from every one of your staff – front desk, kitchen, wherever, is more than we can even expect. Thank you all!” –Harriet R., resident

We do not recall the names of all the staff members that we have had contact with, but would you please express our sincere appreciation to the staff for all that they do for us. They treat us as individuals and friends. Oh – I do have one request: would you please ask the kitchen crew not to make such delicious meals? My trousers are getting too tight.
