“I am writing this note to give you my sincere thanks. I recently received my COVID vaccine shots at Fairwinds – Rio Rancho. I am 68 years old, undergoing radiation treatment for cancer, diabetic, and struggle with high blood pressure. The state of New Mexico, my beloved home for decades, has not come through with vaccine appointments for and neither has Christus St. Vincent Medical Center. But you did. I am forever in your debt. Let me also say how impressed my husband and I are with Fairwinds. Under your leadership, you kept it safe in 2020. It is beautiful, peaceful, and respectful. Your ability to keep everything and everyone so positive is rare these days. Congratulations. We hope your satisfaction and pride of place is a constant blessing for you. Thank you again for your coordination with CVS to keep so many people out of the clutches of this pandemic. You are my hero. ” –Alicia J., resident

A big thank you to the staff at Fairwinds Rio Rancho! Kudos to the staff for assisting with my dad and his wife, moving from independent living to assisted living. You all made the change with all the challenges that come with moving possible! You helped with movers and medical personnel making sure all paperwork and reports etc. were all in place. A big thanks from the entire family!-The Wolfswinkel Family, residents
“I am truly thankful for all the staff at Fairwinds – Rio Rancho! Many have had to take on additional responsibilities beyond their everyday duties. They’ve done so with great attitudes and smiles on their faces.” – Julia R., family member of a resident
“I feel safe because precautions for the residents here are far better than I imagined them to be. The staff has been amazing and has gone out of their way to made every day as pleasant as possible. I want to say THANK YOU to our caregivers. Stay well, everyone!” – Alice, resident
“Both my mother and my in-laws live at Fairwinds, and I can’t tell you how pleased we are at how proactively and thoroughly you acted when the COVID issue started. You guys took action before it was required, have really stayed on top of it, and have done the best you can to make the quarantine as pleasant as possible for the residents. My mom told me she got a puzzle and sudoku book dropped off the other day, and she thoroughly enjoys having her happy hour wine delivered! She always mentions how sweet the girl who brings her dinner is, even though she wouldn’t recognize her without a mask on!” – Sarah L., family member of a resident
“I want to thank all of you for all your help in making my mother feel so welcome in her new apartment. From the very beginning of finding her the perfect apartment and accelerating the necessary paperwork, recommending the best movers, and of course the everyday help that Mom receives. She has enjoyed the food and is slowly learning everyone’s names. I speak for all of mom’s family when I say we all feel very confident that we made the right choice.” – Pat H., family member of a resident
My 87-year-old mother recently moved into Fairwinds – Rio Rancho. We looked at several assisted living homes before deciding on Fairwinds. While we were there my husband and I both got such a good vibe about the place. It was nice to see the residents milling around, enjoying coffee at the bistro, which the gentleman working there expertly made. My mother reports to me that all the workers there are so friendly. It’s been a relief for me to know she is happy and in a safe environment.” – Shelly W., family member of a resident
“The tour was great, the grounds were beautiful and I was very impressed with the price point, the dining, and entertainment. They even had a tea room! I know my grandmother would love it!” – Shelley M., family member of a resident
