Residents hit the green at Fairwinds-Redmond

Regular exercise is crucial to healthy aging. It can help prevent, delay, or manage chronic disease and even reduce the risk of premature death. However, 31 million adults over the age of 50 are inactive. That’s why PrimeFit at Fairwinds – Redmond makes fitness and exercise fun and engaging. Here, it’s something our residents look forward to every day.

PrimeFit is a nationally branded program and leader in senior fitness exclusive to Leisure Care communities. Our innovative fitness program takes a holistic approach to fitness and helps residents set goals and exceed expectations – all while having fun. With personal training, group fitness classes, and more PrimeFit keeps our residents active and engaged while setting attainable, realistic goals and exceeding them.

On the Green

In addition to increasing mobility, miniature golf is a great way to improve coordination – and it’s a lot of fun!

“My goals are to provide another outlet for our residents to be active, increase their mobility in the lower and upper body, to have fun and socialize…but I tell them I can’t supply the beer cart!” – Kelly Fennelly, PrimeFit Instructor

Come and join us for our next round of mini golf! We play every Tuesday and Thursday at 1 pm. We’d love to have you!
