On December 12, 2019, hundreds of people flocked to The Landing of North Haven to see what senior living with a whole lotta heart really looks like. Between 400 and 500 people came out for our celebration, many seeing our community for the first time! It was a true show of support from the larger North Haven community.
All of the food served was prepared in-house by our talented chef and thoughtfully organized and served food in a way that way encouraged people to move throughout the community. Guests enjoyed an Italian themed table with homemade meatballs and marinara sauce, stuffed breads, and Italian sausage with peppers and onions in a light cream sauce over pappardelle noodles. We also had a carving table with roasted tenderloin, a seafood table with house-cured salmon, poached jumbo shrimp, and seafood stuffed mushrooms.
While guests enjoyed phenomenal food and drink, they were entertained by a six-piece band with a brass section that played Jazz Standards and holiday classics. We even had a 15 person photo booth to capture the evening’s memories. The community was beautifully decorated with holiday decor by an interior designer, truly making the community feel elegant and festive.
