Read how our staff delivered Bull, one of our resident dogs, to his new home in New Jersey.

Jim and his small dog, Bull, are long-time residents at Fairwinds – Rio Rancho. Bull is an 11-year-old dog who is partially blind and deaf. It became increasingly obvious that Bull needed a new home where he could receive more focused care services. Doreen, Jim’s sister, readily accepted Bull into her home, but due to her commitments, she could not fly across the country to bring Bull home. Doreen called Fairwinds – Rio Rancho and asked if their staff, whom they trusted implicitly, could bring Bull home. After one call to the general manager, it was done!

Sharon flew Bull out to New Jersey, where is happily at home with his Aunt Doreen. Jim is happy at Fairwinds – Rio Rancho, where he receives person-centered assisted living services from a compassionate staff who always does the right thing.
