For residents at The Ackerly at Reed’s Crossing, the change in seasons brings its own pleasures: cooler afternoons, cozy gatherings, and more time spent indoors with family and friends. For some Hillsboro families, though, colder weather also means finding room in the budget for the sweatshirts, hoodies, and socks their children need for school.

Serving the Hillsboro Community

The Ackerly at Reed’s Crossing is proud to be part of Hillsboro, and that means paying attention to what our neighbors need. Stuff the Bus is a chance for residents, families, and team members to come together for students in the Hillsboro School District. A single contribution made can help a child arrive at school warm and ready for the day.

That connection to the wider community is part of how we think about wellness at The Ackerly. There are two ways to help Stuff the Bus through December 14:

• You can make a monetary donation online, allowing our team to buy clothing in bulk and choose the items students need most.
• If you’d rather give clothing, bring new sweatshirts, hoodies, or socks to The Ackerly at Reed’s Crossing.
