Treeo – South Ogden: Where Adventure Has No Age Limit

TRESO Takes Yellowstone

Alissa Sauer

America’s National Parks have a way of bringing out the adventurer in everyone, and the residents at Treeo – South Ogden were ready for it. This August, some of our residents and staff packed their bags for a road trip to Yellowstone National Park. They explored the park’s most famous destinations and, along the way, discovered that nothing builds community like travel.

Learn more about our recent trip to Yellowstone National Park and how Travel by Leisure Care brings living well and well-being to life in South Ogden!

Senior Travel on Your Terms

For residents at Treeo – South Ogden independent living, retirement does not mean slowing down. Our residents are just getting started, taking advantage of the most fulfilling, rewarding, and productive opportunities possible.

One way they do that is through Travel by Leisure Care, a signature program offered only in Leisure Care communities. Travel by Leisure Care helps residents keep adventure and exploration part of everyday life, whether that means joining a group trip, visiting family across the country, planning a bucket-list vacation, or discovering somewhere new closer to home.

Professional senior travel coordinators work with residents and families to handle the details, with three ways to travel: group destination trips, personal travel planning, and local staycations.

Exploring Yellowstone National Park

Travel by Leisure Care group destination trips bring residents from across its communities together to explore new places and share new experiences.

That’s exactly what happened on a recent adventure to Yellowstone, where residents and team members from Treeo – South Ogden joined travelers from Treeo – Orem and Springfield Place for 12 days of sightseeing, wildlife watching, great meals, and plenty of time to get to know one another.

“Watching residents, friends, and team members come together was one of the best parts of the trip. We arrived from different communities, but it didn’t take long for everyone to feel like one group.” – Kory Tanner, Treeo – South Ogden Sales Manager

The group visited Mammoth Hot Springs, Artist’s Paint Pots, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Old Faithful. They spent time wildlife watching and taking in Yellowstone’s scenery, then gathered over meals, shopping, and time to simply enjoy one another’s company. Their itinerary also included a visit to SpringHill Suites and Yellowstone Lodge, dinner at Redbird, lunch at Red Rabbit Grill, Slippery Otter Pub, and Connie’s Restaurant.

Yellowstone gave our travelers spectacular scenery, but ask anyone who’s taken a great trip, and they’ll tell you where you go is only part of the story. It’s also about the people you meet along the way, the meals shared after a full day of exploring, and the stories you bring home with you.

“Travel by Leisure Care shows that adventure has no age limit. Yellowstone gave our travelers the opportunity to see incredible places, form new friendships, and create memories they will be talking about for years.” – Jerik Roberts, Treeo – South Ogden Business Office Manager

That’s what Travel by Leisure Care makes possible. Here, living well means having everything you need right at home, while still having the freedom to see what’s beyond it. Sometimes that means meeting friends for dinner or trying something new in your own community. And sometimes it means packing a suitcase, heading to Yellowstone, and coming home with a few new friends and a lot of great memories.

Where Will You Go Next?

Yellowstone was one adventure. There are plenty more ahead.

Travel by Leisure Care plans group destination trips year-round, and residents can also use the program for personal travel planning or a getaway closer to home. Friends and family can join the adventure, too, making it easier to keep traveling with the people who matter most.

There’s a lot of life left to explore, and we’d love for you to join us for our next adventure! Contact us to schedule your tour!
