Identifying Future Leaders through Professional Development

We strongly believe that happy employees are the best employees. That’s why we work closely with employees in our communities and in our home office to identify and develop leaders in the senior living industry. We have developed unique programs for our employees that identify these leaders and work with them to develop career plans and set smart goals. Two professional development programs offered through the Leisure Care home office are the Management Associate Program (MA) and Guiding, Recognizing, and Inspiring Talent (GRIT). The MA program strives to identify future general managers, while the GRIT program helps employees build personal and professional skills in different community areas.

Eric Bevins from The Ackerly at Sherwood is the newest graduate of our Management Associate program. He has been working diligently for months, balancing his current role while becoming fully immersed in all areas of community operations. He has traveled to other communities to train and assist, and is passionate about growing his career into a platform for helping others.
