At Leisure Care, we fully believe that one can not live well if one has not dined well. Our signature dining program has always been a highlight of our communities, rivaling top restaurants. Take a closer look at our dining program and how we are adapting and overcoming to meet today’s social distancing guidelines.

A New Way of Dining Alone, Together

Organizations across the globe are changing policies and procedures to adapt and overcome new health guidelines, and Leisure Care is no different. As we seek innovative and creative ways to keep our residents healthy, we remain committed to delivering excellence in all we do, particularly in our dining program.

“The food is truly amazing, both delicious and nutritious.” – Patty, Leisure Care resident

Known for our attention to detail, homemade meals, and elegant dining rooms, residents look forward to dining. It’s always been more than a meal. In fact, it’s a social event. And it will remain that way as we respect and closely follow social distancing guidelines. While our restaurants remain closed, our dining team is creating meaningful ways to connect residents with each other and enhance the dining experience.

“Dining and drinking here is a special treat. I don’t drink alcohol and ever since I moved in the bartender would always have a nonalcoholic drink for me at Happy Hour, and he continues to do this. Our kitchen staff has also been giving great lessons on how to cook and mix drinks. I could go on and on but I will hold back until the next time I write.” – Laura D., Leisure Care resident

From virtual Happy Hours, delivering ‘quarantinis,’ virtual cooking classes, and tastings delivered to each apartment, our communities are stepping up to the challenge, keeping residents connected to the social dining experience.

“The happy hour cart brightens my day. Everyone delivers with a happy smile. The food service employees are fantastic. Kudos to you and the staff!” – Joyce L., Leisure Care resident

Like all of you, we look forward to the day where our bistros and restaurants are filled with family and friends. Until we can open safely, we will do what it takes to engage our residents and their families as we dine alone, together. In that spirit, and as families start cooking more meals at home, we wanted to share some of our Leisure Care recipes. These tried and true recipes have been taste-tasted and come highly recommend by our residents, staff, and our food and beverage team.

Bon Appetit from Leisure Care!
