Fairwinds - Spokane Welcomes Visitors

Fairwinds – Spokane is following Washington State and CDC guidelines to welcome visitors back into our senior living community! Our residents are looking forward to having visitors in their apartment homes and at our outdoor events. Learn more about how Fairwinds – Spokane delivered their promise to deliver Five-Star Fun to independent living and assisted living residents through the pandemic and how we are re-opening to the public.

The past year has required senior living communities across the country to find new and creative ways to engage residents and families. Fairwinds – Spokane reacted to the pandemic quickly, keeping residents engaged while also exceeding CDC guidelines and protocols. We had fun, but we know our residents missed their visitors.

In March 2021, the Governor of Washington and the Washington Department of Health announced that senior living communities could welcome visitors if either the visitor or the resident is vaccinated. With 98 percent of Fairwinds – Spokane residents being vaccinated, we were very excited to announce that we could once again welcome visitors.

Since welcoming back friends and family, we have planned parties and events, including an Easter egg hunt, a spring picnic, a Mother’s Day Tea, a Princess Tea party, and we have many more events planned.

We would love for you to join us at one of our events this summer! Contact us today to learn more about our visitation policies, how we are committed to doing the right thing, and how you can join the Fairwinds – Spokane family!
