Dining Room - Hawthorne Court Retirement Community

Residents are not the only ones receiving support and care at The Village at Mill Landing. Much like our name suggests, we know that life can often take a ‘village’, and we are here to be your village. Learn more about a new family support group at The Village at Mill Landing and how it can help you and your family adjust to a new chapter in life.

The Village at Mill Landing offers comprehensive support and services that can ease the stress that often comes with aging and caregiving. As part of those holistic services, we will now be offering a Family Support Group. Families experience a variety of emotions, challenges, and even celebrations along with their loved one on their senior care journey.

“Navigating senior living for your loved one is like dancing. It often feels like one more step forward and two steps back. And that’s normal.”

No matter if your loved one is aging at home and doing well, moving to senior living or memory care, or already in a senior living community, we would love for you to join us. Wherever you are in the process, it can be helpful to come together with others who are going through similar experiences and to know you are not alone. Mary Berk, LCSW and Certified Life Coach will facilitate our meetings and offer support, positive ideas, and practical solutions.

We would love for you to join us for our free support group as we invest in our residents, their families, and our local community. We will be meeting on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm at The Village at Mill Landing assisted living and memory care community. RSVP to [email protected] or on our Facebook event page.

Live Big. Live Bold.

Retirement should feel like you’re on a permanent vacation which is exactly why our communities celebrate freedom from obligation, helping you pursue new interests.
