At Washington Oakes, we look out for each other. Part of living in a senior living community means helping each other through difficult times. That’s why our residents and their families came together to create over 100 masks. Learn more about their efforts and how the Washington Oakes independent living and assisted living family is doing what it takes to help each other during this time.

Residents at Washington Oakes came together to gather fabric from around the community to create masks. From the comfort of their own apartments and respecting all social distancing guidelines, our residents made reusable and washable masks offered to all residents and available at the front desk for staff. The masks are free to anyone who needs them but the residents did request anyone who takes one leave a donation for the local food bank.

With fun fabrics, these masks are made with love and bring smiles around our community. It’s all part of community living at Washington Oakes. Constantly looking for ways to bring Five-Star Fun to every day, our residents and staff are living better than ever! Contact Washington Oakes for a virtual consult today. We can’t wait to welcome you home!
