Mother’s Day at The Carillon at Belleview Station

Home/Our Communities/Mother’s Day at The Carillon at Belleview Station

Like most activities this spring, Mother’s Day 2020 looked a little different, but that doesn’t mean that Leisure Care communities were not ready to do whatever it took to celebrate our moms. Learn how The Carillon at Belleview Station created a special way to keep families connected on Mother’s Day while social distancing.

At The Carillon at Belleview Station, we know that during this unique time, staying emotionally connected and mentally engaged with loved ones is just as important as staying physically distant from them. For Mother’s Day 2020, we offered our residents who are mothers the opportunity to record a video to send to their children. Each mother was interviewed in their apartments, and then on Mother’s Day, families were sent links to view the message from their mother.

We combined parts of each interview into a video for Facebook.

The videos were so special for our residents and their families.

“There are a lot of loves. You love your parents, nature, your spouse or partner – but the love you feel for your children is unconditional.” – Susanna G., resident

It is our goal for residents to feel loved while creating meaningful connections and meaningful memories while also respecting social distancing guidelines to stay healthy. Contact The Carillon at Belleview Station for a virtual consult and follow us on Facebook to learn how we are staying healthy and active!

Live Big. Live Bold.

Retirement should feel like you’re on a permanent vacation which is exactly why our communities celebrate freedom from obligation, helping you pursue new interests.
