David Cooley has been performing for 30 years and his career has led him from sharing the stage with The Beach Boys and Chubby Checker to performing regularly at retirement homes. He plays music all the way from the 1920s through every decade, bringing a smile to the faces of senior living residents as they relive the music that has defined their lives.

Cooley says playing in a retirement community is a great place to play and that the people are so appreciative.

“It’s kind of like medicine in a way,” he says.
