At Treeo-South Ogden, living well means living with purpose. This year, our residents have once again shown how small acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact in the broader community. Through our annual Santa Pajama Drive, Treeo residents, families, and team members came together to collect cozy pajamas for children in need, working to wrap each child in warmth, comfort, and care.
More than a donation drive, events like this beautifully reflect who we are as a community: older adults choosing to make a difference, staying engaged, and stepping into each season with generosity and heart.
Where Purpose Meets Wellness
At Treeo-South Ogden, we believe that well-being extends far beyond fitness classes and nutritious meals. Through PrimeFit Wellness™, we support whole-person wellness, including physical, social, emotional, and mental health. Giving back is a powerful part of that. Research shows that older adults who engage in purposeful activities experience greater life satisfaction, improved cognitive resilience, and stronger emotional health. Volunteering builds connection, strengthens community ties, and reminds each of us that we still have something meaningful to offer the world.
On December 6, Treeo-South Ogden welcomed residents, families, and neighbors for one of our favorite traditions of the year: the Annual Pajama Drive and Photos with Santa. For two joyful hours, the community filled with the smell of hot cocoa, the sound of holiday music, and the unforgettable excitement that comes when Santa shows up!
“The pajama drive allowed us to support children in our community, and watching everyone enjoy Santa photos and hot cocoa made the event feel extra special.” -Kory T., Sales Advisor
Residents and their families visited with Santa for professional photos, grandchildren delivered handwritten letters, and everyone enjoyed a warm drink and festive treats. But the heart of the morning was the pajama drive. Guests arrived with new pajamas of every size and style, cozy sets for little ones, soft fleece for teens, and warm options for young adults. Each donation will support the Ogden Christmas Box House, an organization providing care, comfort items, and essential supplies for children in crisis.
What began as a simple holiday gathering has grown into a meaningful tradition that reflects who we are at Treeo-South Ogden. It’s connection. It’s joy. And it’s the chance for residents to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most. Events like this remind us that purpose doesn’t fade with age. It deepens, especially when you live in a community that makes giving back feel natural and fun.
The Santa Pajama Drive is one of the many ways residents can live with intention, staying active, staying connected, and continuing to shape the world around them.
Our community is built around the belief that aging brings new opportunities, not limitations. Whether residents are participating in PrimeFit Wellness™ classes, exploring new interests, or supporting local families through initiatives like the Santa Pajama Drive, they’re writing a new story of what it means to live well in the later years.
At Treeo, purpose isn’t something you leave behind. It’s something you grow into.
Looking Ahead: More Ways to Make a Difference
The pajama drive may have wrapped up for the season, but our commitment to meaningful engagement continues year-round. From service projects to wellness events to social gatherings, Treeo-South Ogden offers endless ways for older adults to stay involved, stay inspired, and stay connected—to themselves, to one another, and to the greater community.
