The Village at Mill Landing Takes a Mystery Trip

Mystery Trip with The Village at Mill Landing

Residents at The Village at Mill Landing are always up for an adventure! Learn more about a ‘mystery trip’ that we recently took to surprise our residents.

A Surprise Trip to Holley Canal Falls Park

When a resident at The Village at Mill Landing suggested we take a ‘mystery trip,’ the staff decided they were up for the challenge.

On a beautiful fall morning, residents at The Village at Mill Landing boarded a bus – without a clue as to where they were going! On the bus, each resident was offered a fun fall-themed goodie bag.

After a 20-mile bus ride, our residents were thrilled to find themselves in Holley Canal Falls Park. They enjoyed the roaring falls and the sunshine in a bright blue sky.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The winding roads made us wonder where we were going! Then, we saw the beautiful falls and it was all spectacular!” – Libby P, Resident at The Village at Mill Landing

Residents and staff spend the morning watching the powerful falls, having a mini photoshoot, and even seeing large fish being caught!

The Village at Mill Landing has fun and engaging activities for residents year-round. We would love for you to join us on our next adventure!
