The Village at Unity resident Dick Skinner is well-traveled. In fact, he has been to 49 out of 50 states, with only North Dakota remaining. In a conversation about bucket list items with our life enrichment team, Dick brought up that he had a bucket list item that he did not think our team could make happen. After telling us about his travels and the missing state, we began researching things to do in North Dakota. It was brought up in a meeting with a representative from Leisure Care, where Leisure Care generously offered to pay for Dick’s ticket for North Dakota so he could complete his nation-wide travels.    

A few days later, Deanna and other Village at Unity staff surprised Dick with the trip of a lifetime.
