The Linden at Murrieta strives to positively impact the places where we live, work, and play. As part of our commitment to do the right thing and be involved in the larger Murrieta community, we are hosting our First Annual Breast Cancer Walk for Seniors. Learn more about the walk and how you can join the cause with The Linden at Murrieta.
The Linden at Murrieta Walk for Breast Cancer Research
Join us on October 22, 2021, at 10:00 am as we walk around our property to raise awareness for breast cancer. The walk will start at 10:30 am, and festivities will be ongoing until 1:00 pm. We will be joined by our event co-sponsor, the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team, Dr. Amy Miller, Brightstar, Great Life Senior Care, Vitas, Accent Home Care, Habitat for Humanity, Shella Care, and Sonata Hospice. The walking path is well suited for seniors, and the flat path is suitable for walkers and wheelchairs.
In addition to the walk, we will have live entertainment, a food truck, and a photo op with Thunder, the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team mascot. Participants will receive t-shirts, and there will be plenty of giveaways for guests!
The Linden at Murrieta offers three levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Providing a continuum of care with a whole lotta heart is our promise to residents and their families. We know that many of our residents and their families have personal experiences with breast cancer. This walk is an excellent way for our residents to make a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer while also staying active, moving with purpose, and staying engaged in an important cause.
Join us on October 22, 2021, as we walk to support breast cancer research. Call 951-477-5678 ext. 102 or email [email protected] to register! This event is outdoors and will happen rain or shine. We kindly request proof of COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test result completed within 72 hours of the event.
