The team at Murano Senior Living combines decades of experience in senior living, hospitality, food and beverage, and event planning. Their diverse backgrounds come together to form a team that is truly remarkable and ready to use their talents to help Murano Senior Living residents live better than ever.
Eric Piekarz General Manager
Eric Piekarz is new to Seattle, but certainly not new to luxury senior living. Having successfully opened and managed a Leisure Community in Connecticut, Eric made the move west and joined Murano Senior Living in June of 2021. His prior senior living experience includes national as well as regional providers. His earlier career included work at a community foundation and pediatric physician practice management.
Both a giver and a helper, Eric is focused on extraordinary hospitality. “Every single service and amenity we provide is delivered from a hospitality perspective. Whether that’s our industry-leading dining program, apartment cleaning, and maintenance, our various levels of care and wellness, or our beautifully appointed public spaces, hospitality and customer service are the common threads that run through everything we do at Murano.”
Lisa Angeles Guise Guest Services Manager
Lisa is a Seattle native with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Joining the Leisure Care team in 2008, Lisa fell in love with the company culture and our Three-Thirds Lifestyle philosophy, which balances family, philanthropy, and work. With a heart for philanthropy and improving the lives of others, Lisa has played a vital role in Leisure Care’s annual golf tournament, food drives, and fundraisers to provide immediate relief for local children and families.
Joining the Murano Senior living team in 2020, Lisa brings energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for serving others to her role. In her free time she plans family functions, baking, spending time with family, volunteering, or enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Sean Klos Food & Beverage Director
Sean Klos brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Murano Senior Living.
Sean has a wealth of experience working with both independent restaurants and global hospitality groups that include Schwartz Brothers restaurants, Din Tai Fung, and Holland America Cruise Lines. Most recently Sean served as the Food and Beverage Director with Columbia Hospitality Group. His wealth of experience brings unparalleled creativity and innovation to dining at Murano Senior Living.
Sean has called Seattle home since 1993 and quickly fell in love with all that Washington has to offer from outdoor adventures to the state’s amazing agricultural industry. In his free time, Sean enjoys spending time with his family and introducing his son to the joy of cooking.
Everardo Procel Plant Operations Supervisor
As a long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest, Everado Procel is the Murano Senior Living Plant Operations Supervisor. Everardo has extensive experience remodeling and rebuilding high-end residencies, ultimately playing a key role in the development of several other senior living communities. His expertise and extensive experience contribute immensely to the luxurious amenities and lifestyle offered by Murano Senior Living.
In his personal time, Everardo enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, and being with friends and family.
Shawn Loudenback Sales Manager
Shawn Loudenback brings 25 years of extensive sales and marketing experience to Murano. His continuous improvement approach to providing a “Wow!” experience for customers aligns perfectly with what Murano is all about. Having grown up in a marketing and healthcare provider household, he is a firm believer in delivering a Five-Star level of “hospitality with care” and leading an empowered team that adds value to people’s lives.
In his free time, Shawn can be found helping coach youth sports from football, basketball and most deeply in rugby. His nickname of “Coach” is well earned as he has won (and lost) many a championship!
Erin Staadecker Opal Manager
Erin Staadecker is a Seattle native and has been with the Murano Senior Living family since 2021. With over a decade of experience in senior living, Erin’s passion truly lies in memory care. In addition to her experience working in long-term care settings, Erin feeds her passion for supporting people touched by dementia by partnering with innovative projects, startups, and organizations worldwide, all committed to shifting the dementia care culture! Erin is a Certified Independent Trainer with Teepa Snow’s company, Positive Approach to Care®, and she loves empowering the Murano staff and her residents’ families to be dementia aware.
When she’s not at Murano or running her own dementia coaching business, you can find Erin out on her paddle board or salsa dancing!
Mario Crespo Business Office Manager
Maria Crespo comes to Murano Senior Living with 11 years of experience in the senior living industry. She started her journey as a caregiver and progressed to the business office. She moved to Seattle in 2009 from Burbank, California to work in equipment financing. However, Maria felt a calling to give back after her mother went into remission from cancer. She decided that senior living was the way to do it and has been working with seniors in different roles ever since.
Her passion for serving and her warm personality make her especially suited for her role as the Business Office Manager here at Murano. In her spare time, Maria enjoys exploring life in the outdoors and spending quality time with her family and seven grandchildren.
