Residents and staff at The Landing of Silver Spring seek to make a positive impact in the area where they live, work, and play. Making meaningful contributions to the local community is an important part of our Three-Thirds Lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of family, community, and work. We know the important role of seniors in the larger Silver Spring community and regularly seek ways to contribute in a tangible and practical way.
The last few months have resulted in lost jobs for many local families. We are proud to stand with the local Silver Spring community and support those who are facing difficult economic decisions.
Our community is hosting a food drive that benefits the Manna Food Center of Silver Spring. We began collecting food on June 26th and will be taking donations until July 31st. We are proud of our food collection thus far, which includes generous donations from local organizations, our employees, our residents, and their families. Local companies that have contributed include Right at Home, Capitol City Nursing, JSSA, Bayada, and Senior Stylists.
The Landing of Silver Spring will be supporting the Manna Food Center of Silver Spring through this year and next year with at least two food drives annually.
We would love for you to join us as we seek creative ways to make a positive impact on our local community! Give us a call today and learn more about senior living at The Landing of Silver Spring.
