“I was having a bad day where things were just not going right. I was struggling to deal with an issue with my cat in my apartment and Adriane, a staff member, came to help me and really went above and beyond to help me with my issue. “A little over a month ago my cousin became a resident at The Linden at Woodbridge. From day one she has felt comfortable in her new home. She loves her room and was so happy they allowed her to paint it blue, her favorite color. Everyone has been so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout the admission process and her stay. Every time I visit she praises the staff says they are all so nice and she enjoys her interaction with them. Little by little she is making friends. “My mom is an Opal resident, and when we were told in March that we couldn’t visit with her anymore because of COVID, a flood of emotions came over us. We were so fortunate for the constant support for the day-to-day stuff from those who know our mom best. The staff all had so much on their plates in regards to COVID protocol, but always took the time to answer calls, or set up window visits or FaceTime. I love when my mom’s face lights up when she sees the people who take care of her. It reassures me she is with people who love her, and if we can’t be there, isn’t that the next best thing? “Last year in November it seemed like a catastrophe for taking care of my mother, as we were given only three days to find a place for her. But then came our visit to the Linden at Woodbridge, and all our prayers were answered. The staff did everything to help us and they were dedicated to making things possible. Whenever we visit The Linden we are always greeted by the staff and made us feel like we have known everyone for a long time. My mother has nothing but praise for all the people that help her daily, and this has made the transition work out so well. One thing is that no matter what issues arise, I know that she is in the best place.
